by using Tabtel VoIP services for their regular telephony
needs, because Tabtel provides full telephony services including
DID
for receiving incoming calls.
THE
'MY ACCOUNT' LINK:
You can log in to My
Account to see your full outgoing/incoming
call records, available calling balance, payment history,
add money to your account through Recharge Codes etc.. Also
you can change and see the personal information, voice mail,
call forwarding etc.. You can also make calls using Web
Call.
VOICE
MAIL:
Voice Mail is a very important
feature of telephony. Callers are diverted to Voice Mail,
when you do not pick-up a call within 6-7 rings or you have
activated DND or your device is offline (not connected to
Internet) or you do not answer an incoming call while Call
waiting is activated. Voice Mail works when a DID is subscribed.
There are multiple ways to check your Voice Mails:
From My
Account: Please login to My
Account and look for Voice Mail function.
From broadband
device: Please dial your own DID (full
number: country code, area/city code, and the number) OR
9999+DID OR *0# from your broadband phone and follow the
voice prompt to enter your 4-digit Voice Mail password followed
by the “#" key then simply follow voice prompts
to hear your messages.
From a regular
phone: Please dial your DID from a
regular phone when you hear greeting message press “*”
key, then on voice prompt enter your 4-digit Voice Mail
password followed by the “#” key and then simply
follow the voice prompts to hear your messages.
From PC-Dialer:
Please dial your own DID (full number: country code, area/city
code, and the number) OR 9999+DID from your PC-Dialer and
follow the voice prompt to enter your 4-digit Voice Mail
password followed by the “#’ key then simply
follow voice prompts to hear your messages.
-> Checking Voice Mail from Broadband
phone, PC-Dialer and My Account is FREE.
-> Checking Voice Mail from a regular phone may incur
you Long Distance call charges.
-> If you are first time accessing your Voice Mail, the
default Voice Mail Password is: 1234.
-> While accessing your Voice Mail to check messages,
If you hear greeting message press "*" key immediately,
then on voice prompt enter your 4-digit Voice Mail password
followed by "#" key, and then
simply follow voice prompts to hear your messages.
BROADBAND
DEVICE SERVICE FEATURES:
If you are using Linksys
or Sipura broadband devices, you can avail all following
features for FREE. While traditional Phone
companies charge for most of the features described below.
Balance
Check
(NEW):
From your
broadband device, just pick-up the receiver and dial "*88#",
you will hear an announcement informing the current available
balance (funds) in your Account.
Caller ID:
It allows you to see the caller’s phone number on
your telephone set (requires a caller ID compatible telephone
set with display) connected to your broadband device.
Caller ID Block:
It allows you to block your identity (mostly your phone
number) appearing on telephone display of the party you
called. To activate Caller ID Block, pick up the receiver
and dial “*67” to de-activate dial “*68”.
Call Waiting: It allows
you to receive an incoming call while you are already talking
on phone. Suppose you are talking to A, B calls you, you
will hear short beeps (A will not hear the beeps), press
the flash key on your phone or hook-flash to speak with
B, and A will be placed on hold. You can press flash key
again or hook-flash to return to A. By pressing flash key
or hook-flash you can toggle between A & B. To activate
Call Waiting, pick-up the receiver and dial “*56”
to de-activate dial “*57”. If Call waiting is
activated and you do not answer the second call, after 6-7
rings the caller will be diverted to Voice Mail.
Call Waiting Caller
ID: It allows you to see Caller ID
of a caller while you are already talking on phone. To activate
Call Waiting Caller ID, pick-up the receiver and dial “*25”
to de-activate dial “*45”.
Auto Re-dial Last
Number: It allows the system to keep
dialing with a suitable interval the last dialed number.
The system will try to connect the last dialed number for
upto 30 minutes. To use/activate this feature, pick-up the
receiver and dial “*66” and hang-up, the system
will try the last dialed number, meanwhile you can make
regular use of your phone, as soon as the remote party is
connected your phone will ring and you will be able to talk
with the remote party. If you do not wish to talk with the
remote party, you can de-activate Auto Re-dial last Number
anytime by dialing “*86”.
Call Conference (Three-Party Calling):
It allows you to make conference call between you and other
two parties. For example, on an incoming call you are talking
with A, and want to include B in your conversation, press
flash key or hook-flash, you will hear dial tone, now dial
to B, when connected with B, press flash key or hook-flash
again, now you have a conference with A & B. To disconnect
B, press flash key or hook-flash, B will be disconnected
and you are remain connected with A, to disconnect A, simply
hang up when you are finished talking.
Do Not Disturb
(DND): It allows you to divert all
incoming calls to Voice Mail without ringing your phone.
To activate DND, pick-up the receiver and dial “*78”
to de-activate dial “*79".
Anonymous Call
Block (ACB): It allows your phone not
to ring if an incoming call has no identity (Caller ID).
Usually telemarketers call without an identity and block
their telephone number to appear on the receiver’s
telephone display. Some people do not like to receive an
incoming which does not carry the identity. To activate
ACB, pick-up the receiver and dial “*77” to
de-activate dial “*87”. Please note in ACB activation
mode, incoming calls carry no identity will be rejected
or may be diverted to your Voice Mail, depending upon the
Network status.
Call Return:
It allows you to call the last caller who
called you. Suppose you are out of your office or home and
when you come back you wish to call the last caller who
called you. Just pick-up the receiver and dial “*69”
and wait until you hear ringing or Voice Mail of the last
person or caller who called you. If you do not wish to speak
with last caller, just hang-up.
Call Forwarding:
It allows you to forward all incoming calls to another telephone
number anywhere in the world. To use this feature, please
login to My
Account and look for Call Forward function.
Please note that Tabtel will charge you for the destination
you are forwarding your calls to on per minute basis as
per standard Tabtel calling rates. When Call Forwarding
is enabled, your phone will not ring and all incoming calls
will be forwarded to your specified telephone number.
Fax Send / Receive:
You can attach any standard fax machine to your broadband
device to send and receive faxes. No any additional configuration
or setting is needed. However we do not provide support
for this feature.
NOTE: Most of the features,
except Fax Sending, works when a DID is subscribed.
